The only type of acceptable 'debate' which exists on the internet (in terms of religious debate) cannot exist apart from straw men, conflation of terms and ideas and ignorance of subject matter. Textual criticism is nearly dead and poor exegesis floods countless pages. The pursuit of truth is better traveled down broader highways.
